Puzzles and Emerging Monarchs!

Our puzzle is complete!  We leave it set up on the table until it's finished.  Students can work on it when they are done with their work.  Now on to a Pirate puzzle.  

Introducing, "Tickle's Beautiful", (students named her) our first Monarch butterfly to emerge. Yes, It's a female!  We had two other monarchs emerge today as well!  One boy and one girl.

Unfortunately "Tickles-Beautiful" had a problem drying her wings and she ended up not being able to fly.  We talked about how she would provide a lucky animal with food.  The students were very understanding about it all.
